One thing we’ve learned in 27+ years of marriage is that we love exploring new places together. It’s one way to continue to learn about each other, enjoy our time together, and grow as a couple. We love re-visiting old favorites from time to time as well, especially locally (within a couple hours’ drive or so)

We each have a brother on the western side of the country, his in Arizona, mine in California, so those are repeat destinations for us. More nearby, living in central New Hampshire, we go to Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts and Canada quite often. We’ve gone on a couple of cruises and been to a couple of all-inclusive resorts–and are huge fans of the latter. We’ve also discovered our love for music festivals and plan to attend as many as possible!

In most recent travels, we’ve gone to St. Lucia (to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary) and Cancun (to celebrate a dear BFF’s 50th birthday). And we have more trips to add to that list in the near future.
